Regarding ISLD- are you saying that ISLD can buy and sell shares without a matching sell/buy? Larger brokerages do that to replenish supplies (they act as principal, buying/selling from you), but ISLD can only execute your order if there's another customer on the other end or if some MM hits your order.

If ISLD really has the inventory, they would nearly hold a billion dollars worth of stocks every day (http://www.josh.com/compilef.txt).

Perhaps our definitions of inventory are different.
