Did Al Gore ever sell his Occidental Oil shares?

Dunno the answer, but one does not need to sell/buy when one is in a similar situation. One only needs to ensure that he/she is not actively managing the portfolio.

A good example is when Dave Packard took a govt job : for the duration of his tenure, he was no longer on the BoD for HP, and all his stock in HP was in a "blind trust" that he had no control over.
