1 - See my previous post about president's getting too much credit or blame for the economy (which isn't saying they don't deserve any, just that its not all on them). Things like the housing bubble that led to the bust where built up over a long time, and affected by policies initiated as long as decades ago, as well as more recent policy actions and lack of actions, some of which Obama had a part in as a senator.

2 - How many of those losses were after the Democrats took over congress? Essentially all of them.

3 - You would normally expect faster growth coming out a recession. To the extent you are going to assign economic results to presidents, you have to assign that to Obama.
