Politicians lie. Both parties. They particularly lie when money is involved. Sad but true. That said...I'd like the politicians to make sure that we get our best minds into our colleges and universities. Back during the cold war and the space race we recognized the urgency of a good education system...and it paid off in spades. Today we are facing another challenge. This time it's going to be an economic challenge, And those countries that are on the cutting edge of technology will be the ones that come out on top. We're well positioned now...but we need to keep our eye on the prize. It's at least as important as paying Halliburton shooters $200,000 a year to protect the chow line in Iraq. Orca
