I think Grinchspan has an ego as big as his brains. The rate cut, when and if it happens, would have to look like it's the Fed's decision - specifically, the chairman of the Fed - and no one else's.

I think the recent noise made by Bush Jr. about weakness economy and big tax cuts etc. probably aggrevated the issue more than helped.

I am glad to hear that O'Neill has GrinchSp's ears.
