First I would like to say that this has to go down as one of the best days for announcements that I have seen for QUALCOMM, and I've seen a lot. That we are down on the day doesn't surprise or discourage me in the least. Until the market gets its head out of dark places, (Europe) we won't see a more realistic sentiment. Either that or as I have always believed it will be the accelerated earnings that finally gets their attention.

I have been regularly visiting the official QUALCOMM web site searching for any news or stated opinions about 802.11. To date there have been four (4) documents posted regarding this technology. It doesn't appear to me that QUALCOMM had to spend much time or effort to address connectivity issues regarding 802.11. It appears that they have created solutions that incorporate the technology and made it available to interested parties. I thought that I would post those four documents here for others to see. I believe that 802.11 will be complimentary to, rather than a competitor of CDMA technology.

Best
