Bill,

>>This seems to indicate that IAIC is more focused on their performance this year than on the future.<<

I couldn't have said any better myself! I feel that 1998 is the Year of the Great Y2K Fix (leaving 1999 as the Year for Y2K Testing) and it won't be too long before IAIC starts reaping the rewards from their CA Y2K partnership and numerous other Y2K alliances.

>>In general, who owns the stock doesn't influence me.<<

However, in the past when ownership of IAIC was virtually all individuals, many existing and potential investors wanted the assurance that institutions would be attracted to IAIC. Now some pretty powerful Wall Street funds have "found" IAIC and I consider this to be a significant achievement. Going forward, as IAIC announces Y2K deals through their aforementioned alliances, more institutional demand would be expected. With the small market cap and even thinner float, the effect should be profound.

>>On October 30, 1997, IAIC switched auditors to a Big 6 firm, Ernst & Young.<<

All investors have to agree that this was a welcomed move by IAIC. IMO, they now have world-class auditors to go along with a top-notch management team, valuable alliances, impressive institutional stockholders and leading-edge technology.

Regards.

Elliot

P.S.: On the Motley Fool message boards this weekend there was a very bullish assessment about the size of Y2K contracts expected for IAIC in the near-term. Worth a look!
