Our efforts in Iraq seem puny in comparison to the greater, overall picture of Muslim hatred towards the Jews and the West... Which is why the battle for the future of Iraq is so crucial. If people in the region see that the people are so strongly in favor of a democratic system of government, it will send shockwaves throughout the region. And while a terrific tragedy, it seems to me that with each suicide/homicide bombing conducted against innocent fellow muslims, people in the region are slowly beginning to recognize the danger that Islamo-Fascism poses to their lives. The question is whether they will choose to flee to Europe and the West, or stand and fight, rhetorically, or physically, in order to combat the Jihadists. It's going to be a long struggle. But we have to recognize that the trend has been in place for well over two decades and our response had been lack-luster, at best, over that period of time. Hawk
