Eric, Pete, Steve, and everyone else who helped. Thanks for the great Linux information. I now am sitting at the keyboard of my Athlon box running WindowsME, connected to a local PIII box running Linux via DNC and LinNeighborhood, and also connected to a remote PIII/NT box over the Internet through a program called "terminal services client". I can now do all my work on three different machines running three different OS's in two different states without moving out of my chair. Tomorrow I will try to install DirecPC to speed up my Internet connection for the NT machine. Scumbria
