Regarding the poor refugees that have my sympathy, in the 1940s when Hitler was killing all the Jews, thousands of kids were orphaned.

They all had Jewish homes to go to in the US, but 96% of Americans were against allowing them to come in.

That is how ugly Americans can be.

Or, in Mississippi today every single country polls against interracial marriage.

That is how barbaric we still are.
