it really works:
i feel better in my mid 40s than i've ever felt before. my tg/hdl ratio (pseudo marker for insulin levels) is less than 1.0.
i have a friend who was diagnosed with MS and was able to rid himself of constant leg pain that had completely demoralized him. his comment to me was, "i can't believe this really works."
another friend had 5 years of severe back pain essentially go away in 2 days. her comment to me was, "i can't believe the inflammation is gone."
manuel uribe has gone from 1234 lbs to about 600 lbs within about 4.5 years and he's not hungry and no longer depressed. i have no doubt he will set the world record for weight loss top to bottom. his blood work is also exceptionally good.
valentina vezzali is an avid zoner and the only person to have won three consecutive gold medals in fencing in history - her latest as a 38 year old!
dara torres missed gold in the olympics by 1/100 of a second (after a very late start!) as a 42 year old mother.
troy polamalu, steve finley and tyson chandler are all professional athlete zoners.

now, these two have superior genes, too, but so do a lot of 62 year olds and a lot of women, but without the advantage of their diet and exercise program, they don't look anything like these two.
nor do i - i have pretty average genetics, excluding my nerve damage. including the nerve damage, my genetics suck.
however, i'm making good progress and, most importantly, having a blast doing it - it isn't like it is work or something i dread. i love hitting the trails and pushing the iron.
i went from 178.5 lbs to 155.5 lbs - and that includes about 5 lbs of added muscle from working out between the time i was 178.5 and 155.5 (9 months, maybe).
i'm now up to 173 lbs and adding about 8 lbs of muscle per year.
my goal is to be 180+ lbs sometime next year and 185-190 lbs the year after. my guess is it gets harder to add the muscle over time - we'll see.
i want to eventually best my all time best 400m dash (68s, my best recent time is 76s) and i want to best my bench press (225 lbs twice, my best recent lift is 200 lbs once).
i have a ways to go, but i am improving and i do have fun, so i'm enjoying the process as much as i will enjoy achieving the goals.
without my energizing, quick recovery, anti-inflammatory diet, i'd be a pot bellied couch potato waiting for the arthritis to set in... |
