The Left’s Gay Witch Hunt Continues

By Rob on Politics

Sigh…

The Philly Inquirer, among others, are reporting today that one of Rick Santorum’s top aides is gay. The staffer was “outed” by a gay website. It’s a reprehensible thing to do–invade a staffer’s personal life like that. And of what relevance is it, say, to any reader of the Philly Inquirer? Santorum has issued a statement praising the staffer, clearly furious that one of his people has been targetted in such a rotten way. Is that the “news” too? Maybe people are shocked Rick Santorum doesn’t actually hate gays?
>>>

When are some of these people on the left going to realize that opposing the de-facto legalization of gay marriage through the court system does not represent outright homophobia or bigotry toward gays? When are they going to realize that a moral objection to the gay lifestyle isn’t the equivalent of those things either?

Why does it seem like the people who have cried the loudest about people like Santorum “invading the bedrooms of gays” are the ones doing the invading of Republican bedrooms?

Why does it seem like, for the most part, the only people who care about who’s gay and who isn’t these days are Democrats?
