3. Qualcomm (QCOM, Trade) boasted the most-active put option on both the CBOE and the PHLX on Wednesday, as nearly 22,000 contracts traded at the January 25 put strike. Small blocks traded on the out-of-the-money option throughout the day, the vast majority of which translated as new open interest. Technically speaking, the security has been directionless of late, hovering in a sideways range below the 35 mark.
