The Civil War was about a few rich white men having a surplus of workers which meant they could gut wages for poor white men in the south. Then, these poor white men died to ensure white rich men could keep them in poverty for generations. What they didn't know, is they'd be in poverty no matter what rich men were doing to them because they're so damn gullible.
