Nobody said that Iridium is analog.

I've seen a reference to your article on a yahoo board where the person who referenced it used it to "prove" that iridium was analog.

All products that were passed by the progress

I love this kind of comment. Takes a lot of gall to call the first, and so far only proposed, worldwide, decent quality satphone system "passed by progress." You call it old and mouldy, fine. But the fact is, for %40 of the coverage area of Iridium, there is no competition-- existing, or proposed.
