Yeah, I know..... if I used your statement, it wouldn't be criticism of ARIA, it would be used as an example of how to approach a company with intitial optimism while effectively expressing where further homework is necessary. Sort of "how to find on-line expertise".

I have a friend, Mike Solomon at Wisconsin (Pharmaceutical Chem), who was targeted on the "how selective" question with ARIA over six months ago. Unfortunately (from the perspective of obtaining more ARIA-related news, not from any other sane view) he is scrambling with 18 hour days to finish his thesis. His first-blush look at the selectivity issue left a positive impression. But, you're correct, there's lots downstream and I also need to look further at the issue.

With respect to your "4 of 4" comment...... there are some good analysts out there, and at least one of them (Michael King at Vector) covers ARIA. However, I am less enthusiastic about using Zack's-like numbers than you. That is, I feel that most biotech analysts are clowns with vested interests.
