Leftist myth: Defunding the police sounds radical until you realize we've been defunding education for years.

The facts: Real education spending per student (adjusted for inflation) has gone up 280% since 1960, from $4,060 to $15,424.

The logic (or lack thereof): "We've been defunding education for years, and our education system keeps getting worse, therefore if we defund law enforcement, law enforcement will get better."

The moral reasoning: If your best argument for defunding the police is that the "other side" is hypocritically "defunding" education, then you are occupying the moral low ground.
