Populists Don’t Know Much About Private Equity

You can argue whether buyouts by private equity firms are good for society or not, but I was unaware that either the Clintons or Joe "You're full of s--t" Biden would argue in favor of this.

In fact, the WSJ is arguing against Oren Cass, who claims that private equity firms are "socially wasteful" because they are nothing more than legalized gamblers. Cass thinks that talent coming out business schools are wasted in finance.

Sounds like the Clintons and Joe Biden would agree with Oren Cass and disagree with the WSJ editorial board, no?
