Bob,
I am the one that said I did not want to argue and I don't. You said you would not be sarcastic too. I do know I would never call someones belief in God ridiculous no matter what for slander is bad. You do not have to defend what you believe for we respect your beliefs it is you that has a problem with how we believe. The Lord is responsible for people not you Bob and if we or others are in error He will take care of it. I like Alan do not understand your point. We really agree on most things and the few we don't there are scriptures to go either way so why don't we continue to drop our differences. The Amellinealist views I refer to is that we are currently in the Kingdom that God promised. This is the Kingdom of Messiah now and there is no future Kingdom and Israel has fulfilled the purpose from God that was all of the Covenants made to them were really for the Church and not really them. There would be no regathering of Israel for it has already been accomplished. The Old Testament has no value for it was only to bring the New Covemamt to existence. So that is why I put your statements to that Theology. As a dispensationalist I believe God has dealt with man in a progressive plan of redemption. The Law was used to revile His ways and Holiness and our need for His Grace. Then the age of Grace was brought in by the ressurection of the Lord and this became the times of the Gentiles in Isaiah and other prophesies until the completion of that number then Israel will be restored as the supernatural veil God has placed over them will be removed (from Romans 11). This will occur at or near His return for He told Israel you shall not see me here again until you cry blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. In Zachariah it foretells of this time, as the story of Joseph when he was reconciled with His brothers in Genesis. I do not know how many Jews will be saved and have never said an amount, you have read that into what I have said. All I know is that Paul says it is a mystery and God will be victorious and has a plan for us all. The Dispensational Theology is not heresy or ridiculous many major denominations follow this Theology and it is well supported by scripture. I personally had a problem with the Covenant Amelinealist views for their scripture base is very weak to me and contradictory. I respect how you feel and see the scriptures you are using and respect that for you and wish you would do the same for us. In fact the majority of Christian Churches are more dispensational than Amelinealist so that was another reason for my views. I think many here just asume Alan and I to be proud because he shared he was Jewish. DLL on the Rock thread shared his experience with you at a Messianic Congregation and you were polite to him were you have always told us we are proud or ridiculous and we have been over defensive from the posts by Emile and Chris that went way beyond scripture and to the actual lives of people they do not really understand. Maybe you were able to accept your understanding of your fathers eternal condition but I plan to leave it all to God and look forward to the Good News from the Lord. May God bless you today and please get a book on dispensationalism so you can see clearer what I believe and how many agree with what I am saying. The Feasts are the only thing I do in addition to the Theology. Nancy
