Truth is you can't blame the true problem, the consumers, because they vote. So you divide and conquer. Blame the easiest target. The oil companies. So why are the gloves off OPEC...got to be fear or money.

Jim,

I don't know if the oil companies are sleaze balls or not, but its kind of funny that in two instances in the past 5 years, when gas prices have been unusually high in a particular region of the country, as soon as media and governmental attention was brought to bear on the problem, the problem disappeared in two weeks.

The two regions in question are the Midwest this summer, and the West Coast, specifically CA, a few years ago. And G. Bush is oil's friend...hmmmmmmm, very interesting.

D'you say you were from TX, Jimbo?!!
