TI's integrated set-top chip is TMS320AV7100 ARM7 core with Thumb. It has MPEG-2 audio and video decoder, transport processor, FireWire interface, and support for 16 Mbits of SDRAM for decoding buffer. NTSC/PAL outputs. The ARM7 core runs at 40 MHz. Was supposed to sample in Feb. with production in 2Q97. This info was published in Dec. and I don't have anything recent.
