I believe that there is a significant difference between the two processes.
The reason that I say this is beccause AMD has announced that their portable
K6 in .25um runs at 2.1V. This indicates that the physical gate length
is not as aggressive as Intel has been with their process. This will
mean that K6's in .25um will once again run at slower speeds and at
higher power.
