We do not buy for two reasons. One is we do not sell used although we can and do remount diamonds into new rings we can sell. Secondly, it is very difficult to really determine the source this this jewelry. Often, it can be stolen. We always will take trade-ins. My theory, and it not failed me yet, is no one that stole jewelry is going to trade it in and pay more for another piece. So we take trade-ins but only with additional cash. This does not help the people that need cash.

this is a tough economic environment and it might not show up big in the numbers for a bit longer.


It is a difficult environment. Funny thing is during lucnh I heard some CNBC. They had some chief economists from some banks saying they felt unemployment was dropping and that the numbers were inflated. I am trying to figure out what cave they live in. Maybe it is Bezos' old loft<G>
