Anybody who doesn't like me or what I have to say, please feel free to put me on Ignore LOL Reminds me of a true story. A very good friend was born and raised in Palau Micronesia. She was very poor growing up....so poor that she thought anyone that could afford canned food was rich. She met and married an American fellow who was on assignment from the U.S. Government to survey a new runway on the main island. He's a very proper and conservative sort of fellow, but after a wonderful day of boating and water skiing on one of his days off he was convinced that she was the one. (how could he not considering she lost her bikini [the whole thing] after she took a fall on her first go around. LOL They married on the island........the reception took 4 days......and honeymooned on a smaller island nearby. Eventually he completed his assignment and moved the little island girl back to the states. He eventually became one of the high mucky muck surveyors for a local county and one of his duties is to attend the annual high mucky muck surveyors dinner. He arrived home from a busy afternoon on the day of the annual high mucky muck annual surveyor's dinner, hopped into the shower and finished dressing in his fine suit and tie just as she arrived home from her busy day. She proceeded to take her shower and dress for the high mucky muck dinner while he fixed himself a drink and caught up with the news. She finished her shower, blew her hair dry, applied her makeup, got dressed and announced herself ready to go as she entered the kitchen. He took one look and asked if THAT was what she was going to wear to the high mucky muck surveyor's dinner. She replied, why yes it is........why? To which he replied, "Do you think that dress is appropriate?" (My friend is dark polynesian in color and able to wear bright flashy colors which only serve to enhance her beauty) In her own inimitable way she replied, "Don't like the way I look, don't look at me" and off they went. LOL
