I thought the last para in that post was full of sarcasm. Therefore the snitty comments from me. Sorry.

RE: Until the institutions come back this plane will not have sustainable liftoff.

I agree. I have a few years left to go with LSI so I don't mind if they are out now.

RE: LSI's poor handling of this marketing

LSI has always done a poor job of selling itself. I no longer expect anything too positive from LSI re: this. Unfortunately for LSI what they do not realize is the lack of information is leading to all sorts of uncertainty and that translates into big time volatitility swings - good for traders. They should realize what INTC realized about 3-4 years back - you need the little guys to do some big time buying and hold to "remove" shares from the average trading volume numbers. This will dampen the volatility eventually. But I'm not holding my breath - unless LSI comes out with an "LSI Inside" media-blitz - again I'm not holding my breath.

RE: I was just trying to let you know that the selling was institutional in nature

I was thinking about this and I do have problems with this based almost entirely on the poor institutional %ge in the stock right now - sure they could be selling but there aren't enough shares in here to cause serious damage. The problem however and this is endemic of the market right now is that there is no buying interest whatsoever. With LSI we are seeing this effect manifest itself much more than any instit. selling.
