I grew up on vegemite. My mother used to slather it on toast, yumeee!!! All good little aussie children loved their vegemite.
My wife who is American, was subjected to this stuff and almost choked. Adult versions of Aussie products that really scare foreigners include (1) Winfield cigarettes. Paul Hogan used to advertise them years ago with the slogan "Anyhow, have a Winfield" I would watch my American friends inhale, choke and cough smoke feverishly out of their extremities.(2) Bundaberg overproof rum. This one is a real killer, made from Queensland sugar cane, it is extremely alcoholic, in my student days got really drunk on the stuff and went home on the train standing on my head (yes this actually happened).

I usually post on this thread but once a year, but understand that GPGI will be banished to the pinks shortly (so the game will be over, except for those who believe in a flat earth). Cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would care about this company, suggest we turn the thread into a repository for bad jokes and experiences as this seems to be an appropriate use of the thread.
