He was the most damaging manifestation of the "WHIZ KID" myth that originally came out of the Roosevelt administration.

If he has any positive legacy, it's that our public now looks cynically at official "experts" in ALL walks of life.

Perhaps McNamera should get credit for the failure of the Kyoto Treaty and the fall of the European Union (:->)...
