The Kiss

there is a kiss
that can unlock heaven
I hear from time to time
a key to eternity's bliss untold
to that one sublime
a kiss that melts a heart
and opens an innocent one
that sets a vigil far aside
that loving may be done

there is a kiss I long to try
to see if I hold that key
for what there is beyond that gate
is paradise to me
a chance to see if she may feel
the things my heart would tell
a risk I would gladly take
to be allowed into her shell

from every daydream in this life
every mystery of man
from dawning til the end
the most sacred one to me
is that my kiss make her soul bend
that she wrap her beauties around me so
but first she must allow the kiss
the one that only she would know
