I must admit I am very disappointed. BTW, SYMC seems to have lost its grip on anti-virus market: McAfee now rules on Win side. And, it's a much lesser biz, but Apple is bundling Virex by Datawatch (DWCH) with Performas and servers, not S.A.M. I agree, SYMC has more space to fall. Check out www.briefing.com for yesterday; reported some analysts had expected an open yesterday below 10! Anyone have a estimate of the bottom? If the meeting really did go poorly, SYMC may actually get oversold into low 8's. SYMC is clearly not a stock with one bad hiccup quarter as once thought (i.e., EMC), but a turnaround situation.
