Meathead and the other 5 posters to me.
(1) HAL treats all stocks the same way,
and that includes DELL.
(2) DELL made a high at 55, 72 trading days ago.
There are about 66 trading days per quarter.
(3) The Dow Jones and SP500 made a high just 1 trading day ago.
(4) Paine Webber says that DELL is the best company, but in a
weak computer group.
(5) HAL is nothing more then a trend following system and
DELL just does not follow the trend any more.
(6) Look at your computer ! Can you find a reason you must
go out and buy a new one ? What doesn't your present computer
not do for you ???
(7)Most likely, unless you play computer games, your present
computer is OK .
(8)DELL gets most sales from companies and company computers
do not need to play computer games.
(9) My computer #5 was a P166. My newest computer #6 bought in
August 1998 is a PII 400. I remember telling my wife that
this new computer #6 wasn't much faster then computer #5.
(10) The need, 386 to 486 to pentium was real.
The need to PII to PIII isn't there !
(11) Now what happens when this great computer company falls into
lthe ower half of the YTD gains for the S&P500 ?
(12) Maybe Chuzz can explain what happens to companies with
PE=80, when earnings and sales growth drops ?
(13) Tuesday and 23 cents and I am a DELL BULL (g)
