Oracle's earnings have (and will continue) to have a profound impact on SUNW's earnings (or at least on the perception of how SUNW's earnings going to be). Keep in mind the largest database company (and the world's second largest software company) is using Sun's internet computing model as the basis for its future prospects and its entire business model.
