You're right. I've been scratching my head trying to figure out how the multiple positions of the NYTimes on Plamegate isn't the most contradictory, convoluted thing I've ever seen. This morning I dreamed I actually figured it out in my sleep, but when I woke up it slipped away. Has to do with who Miller is protecting. I dreamed she's protecting someone she talked to Rove about.

In my dream, it explained why the NYTimes is mad at Rove because their reporter voluntarily went to jail for something that wasn't a crime.

Fitgerald says she's not protecting a whistleblower, but someone who committed a crime. Does he know what he's talking about or is he just taking a legal position?
