John, I'd also quibble on 'critical mass', and doubt that 25% in units is going to do the job. I'd define critical mass to be when the compiler manufacturers and software vendors provide the same level of optomization for the high end/business AMD chips as they do for the INTC chips.

First we have to get high end platform.

Then we have to get software support.

Then we may get critical mass.

I think we've a shot at it, but it's still far from certain.

When either Oracle or Microsoft teams up with AMD to provide 'The largest fastest database solution on an X86 platform' we'll have hit critical mass.
