I'd rather sell all I have and give to the poor than become a republican. If we could get the democrats out of our pockets, we'd all have more money to give to the poor. I've given millions to the government--I wonder how much of the money that was earmarked for helping the unfortunate actually made it to them before the government took their slice to run itself... Americans, whatever party, love to give. It's just much easier when the government takes less from you. Run the democrats out of Washington and there will be less poverty (and more dignity).
