Shane, Charlie Sporck, now there's a name from the past. He was the tyrant CEO when I did time there in '71-'72. Since, there has been talk several times that the replacements for Sporck, first Amelio and then Halla would make it a better place, straighten it around, lose the sweatshop reputation. But, a woman I know, whose husband works there, told me back in Feb. '98 that it's still a sweatshop.

Sounds like NSM may be so screwed up with Cyrix that they may lose out on a lot of their other markets.

Other piece of data, my Intel man Paul Engel has not had too much good to say about Halla. I better stop quoting him or he'll be sending me a bill. Intel shareholders tomorrow. I'll be there or be square.
