I used to recruit for my "big firm" CPA firm. We went after the top 10% of grads. That was a firm objective, I personally didnt agree with it as our business was PEOPLE related and I wanted an all around recruit with people skills as well as academic skills. I found my best recruits were slighltly older people that had gone in service or job market then back to college. They were more experienced in the WORLDLY matters and often had better judgement. jdn
