No, he didn't. Novak "snaked" David Frum the same way when he was working in the WH. In Rove's job, getting misquoted goes with the territory. But that conversation puts the lie to the WH claim that Rove was not "involved."

They were smart to cover it up last year. It kept the issue small during the election. I think this issue will go on until the investigation is wrapped up. At that time, Rove will be off the hook. In the meantime, he just has to keep a low profile.
