I agree it's pretty quiet today. A few possible reasons: * institutions abide by fairly defined guidelines and one may be not to buy when there's any chance of a pre-announcement. Historically NN would announce within a day or two of the quarter's end and since the company let it be known the holiday would stretch out the time frame, we've had a few more days to wait. * it's a nervous market, overall. There's a lot of caution. * Cisco announces on the 10th and some may be waiting to see how that affects the sector. * 90% of the country is on holiday --- most probably cooling off in lakes, rivers or swimming pools. * fear that the Internet correction means the entire universe has decided not to upgrade telecommunications equipment and services. I take these dips as gifts and try hard not to feel sorry for those who don't understand what's happening in the industry. Pat
