Guys: my original post had 3 paragraphs of which only the middle one appeared for some reason, so it it somewhat out of context. In the US I optimistically foresee after the next wave of technological advances the American Dream quite attainable with hard work and if you do get a big house on Lake Tahoe you'll have to mow your own lawn and sweep and vacuum it yourself. Count the windows you'll have to clean before you buy. However a ten year bear market would place this hopeful prospect on hold.
