Looking ahead at Tuesday and what we might expect . I think 25 basis would be fair, but these are indeed unusual times and I don;t think the goverment is in a mood to delay action . Thye want this fixed ASAP.

15:26 ET Fed Meeting : One of next week's key events will be the FOMC meeting on Tuesday; the Fed cut the funds rate by 50 bp to 3.0% when the markets reopened on Sep 17; the bet now is that they'll cut another 50 bp to 2.5% on Tuesday. A 100 bp cut in just over two weeks is highly unusual, but these are unusual times
