Merrill Lynch ... 401K for my current pimp, er ... I mean company ...

growth fund ... lost 23% last year. And is down another 8% I believe this year. (I'm not in it.)

Still waiting for Ralph Corace to go to jail for the millions he stole from MY 401K (with the Equitable ... catch the irony?) years ago.

(He pled guilty ... got over 30 months and is appealing the sentence. I still haven't received a dime. It will end when the lawyers get all they can I would guess.}

So much for the pros. I buy my own picks now.

I still like some of Murphy's analysis. But sometimes I wonder if he isn't STILL doing acid. I admire his ability to take unpopular positions and his macro view is usually right in my experience.
