CB, It's not blaming the victims to say that jihadis want Christians, Americans, and Europeans out of the Middle East. They don't just hate us because of who we are, they hate us because we're there. And if you believe that you are very foolish. The jihadi vision is for a world wide caliphate - no one is safe, not even those hiding out in New Zealand. While the conventional wisdom is that it is difficult for them to give up their hero's such as Osama, we did manage to get the Germans to give up Nazism and the Japanese to give up militarism. It just takes enough killing to make the general Mulsim and Arab populations more afraid of us than them.... If this keeps up and there are more or larger attacks - there will be a lot more Serbia type problems in Europe and a lot of dead Muslims. We tend to forget how parochial the Europeans are - they hide it under the veneer, but its only been 10 years since Bosnia. John
