I thought the litho equipment folks made sure that placement (mechanical and lense) also improved with new equipment models in conjunction with optical resolution improvements (na, lamda, field size, magic (OPC, PSM, k factor etc)) so that retooling was required with each new generation (at least for critical resolution levels) of chip. Comments please. Thanks TI2
