Your conclusion appears to be that since great schools can be so expensive I need to pay for someone else's spawn in order to make it slightly easier for them? If the family buys BMWs rather than Fords I suppose I should help pay for that as well. Your logic is twisted.

University of Missouri I was recently told charges $20,000 a year for tuition; St. Louis University is $35,000 and Washington Univ. at $45,000 per year. How are parents and kids able to afford these cost in obtaining the marketable skill sets current required for gainful employment and pay of student loans.
