The takeover and turnaround of the auto industry.

Let's see how sustainable this is. Is it coincidence that Detroit's revival happened immediately after all of the tsunami caused factory shutdowns in Japan? Sure GM outsold Toyota, but only because Toyota and Honda and Nissan were operating at very reduced capacity. How is merging with Europe's least successful car maker, Fiat going to save America's least successful car maker Chrysler?
Will the taxpayers ever get back the investment in GM?
