Then you don't know Kemal Ataturk's greatest contribution to Turkey. Kemal, upon seizing the power went into a pact with all mullahs and pledged to support them. Then one night when the mullahs were off guard, he pulled all of them out of their homes and hung them on the streets of Turkey. Thousands of mullahs and fanatics were killed by his forces around the country. The fanatics went into hiding. Then he changed the written language to Latin from Arabic letters. This probably was his single most important contribution to the secularization of Turkey. Kemal Ataturk is known as the father of modern turkey. Islam only understands overwhelming force delivered by a tremendous blow.
