I am suspicious of ALU. I have followed the company off and on since buying its IPO many years ago. (I have not owned it in years.) I believe they did some private placement last year on relatively poor terms, when the stock looked quite cheap. When someone does a deal on terms that appear to make no sense to me (and I have done privates myself, so have some knowledge), I wonder what someone else knows that I do not. Sort of like a floorless convertible being a huge red flag.
