Actually the coal is in western pa, west va, and eastern ohio, not so much in east pa. There are some of the most anti obama signs on the highway billboards I have seen anywhere in West PA due to Obamas lack of support for their livelihood, coal. THey have been there all year on interstates and put out by coal. Many are dems that will vote for Romney. Fracking is primarily in the north & central part of PA but this area is typically repub anyway. But the fracking has brought many jobs to the state.

Sorry.....typo. I meant western PA for coal. I thought the fracking industry is centered in a county just north of Pittburgh Isn't that considered SW PA?

Pa has a repub governor and a split in senators. They will vote republican but haven't for a while in presidential elections. They may this year. Most likely depends on GOTV in Philly which is big time dem., vs GOP GOTV and how many dems switch votes to R. The PA governor has said that the state will go Romney. We will see.

Time will tell...............
