There are a lot of reasons for someone to try to scare people out of their shares, not just the issue of shorts. One might be day traders who love to see volatility in a stock with 1 mil + volume. They would like to knock the stock down, buy it, then sell it on the rebound after people start to realize it was just a scare. The thing to remember is that they are after cheap shares and will be happy to take them off the hands of anybody they can. They won't get mine!! Errick
