David, I dont disagree with you. It is nice to browse books in B&M but it comes at a price (the building, people etc). If amazon can reduce the price by 20% and make the same amount of money, B&M will lose market share. I am not saying that it is a good thing. But it may be the fact of life. I like shopping in wonderfully decorated speciality shops but they cannot compete with supermarkets. In the mass market, price will be a deciding factor.
